ABOUT
In this 90 minute webinar Grace Kelemanik and Amy Lucenta, authors of "Routines for Reasoning" and co-authors of "Ready Classroom Mathematics", will share strategies for engaging students in mathematical thinking and discourse while teaching remotely. They will also discuss a small set of engagement strategies that can be used during online learning to allow teachers to get in-the-moment feedback from students. Teachers will leave with resources to help them manage online learning and strategies to use in remote learning settings.

Participants will:
• Learn three strategies that prepare students to participate more fully in mathematical thinking and conversations, particularly in remote environments.
• Discuss how the three strategies can be applied in synchronous, asynchronous, and in-person instruction.
