Become a WASA Member

“As of this writing, we are indeed living and working in an incredibly difficult and challenging time. I want to thank you for your ongoing courageous leadership and advocacy for your students, staff, and communities.  The collaborative and collective work accomplished through our membership has never been more important than it is right now. We have long demonstrated flexibility as school leaders; however, the strain and stress of our current reality will only increase as we move forward through this trying time. One antidote that we have at our fingertips is that of the WASA staff and the wisdom and collegiality of our membership. We are most definitely better and stronger when we work together rather than going it alone.

With a focus on leadership, trust, and advocacy, WASA continues to serve as the state’s premier organization for district administrators. With your help, we will continue to serve in order to meet the needs of the dynamic and ever-changing world of public education. There are over 1.1 million reasons as to why our heavy lifting is so very critical and crucial. Thank you for your selfless leadership and thank you for your WASA membership … together we will … together we can.

—Brian Talbott, Superintendent, Nine Mile Falls School District; President, WASA

"WASA’s mission is to support leaders through equity and excellence in leadership, trust, and advocacy. One way we accomplish our mission is through ongoing support of our members. WASA membership provides opportunities for professional learning, collaboration, support, access to current information and resources, and a collective voice that champions public education. Your success is key to WASA’s success. We look forward to walking beside you on your leadership journey."
