School Safety

The School Safety Advisory Committee was established by the legislature in 2001 to advise the Superintendent of Public Instruction on all matters relating to safety in our schools. One of the primary goals of the Committee is to disseminate information to school personnel, including notification of activities, workshops, guidelines and regulations provided by agencies that work with schools to ensure the safety and well being of all members of the school community. WASA serves on the Committee.
