AWARD CRITERIA AND CONSIDERATIONS

WASA encourages every WASA member to nominate deserving individuals for the various awards listed below; previous nominations may be resubmitted. Nominations gathered are given to the WASA Honorary Awards Committee for consideration and final selection. With the exception of the Community Leadership Awards, all awards are presented at the WASA luncheon during the annual AWSP/WASA Summer Conference.

WASA members are requested to send in nominations for awards. If you are eligible for a Twenty-year or Retirement Award, please make a self-nomination as appropriate. Self-nominations assist WASA staff and Honorary Awards Committee members in ensuring recognition of all qualified members.

A copy of your completed form MUST be submitted to your region Honorary Awards Committee representative. Contact information is provided on the printed nomination form and with your online confirmation.
