"Membership in WASA is a ‘must’ for superintendents and central office administrators. WASA provides a variety of professional growth options for its members, as well as opportunities to forge personal and professional relationships with other school leaders throughout the state. The establishment of those relationships enables members to network with professional colleagues, which is critical to success in our profession. WASA is a highly respected voice for K–12 education. To sustain and further strengthen that standing, we need you to join us in the work of WASA—as we advocate for the children of Washington and support those who courageously lead our schools."

- Joel Aune, Superintendent, Snoqualmie Valley School District (2011-2012 WASA President)

"Given our current economic status, we are confronted with making difficult choices. We need to work in unison as educational leaders. I strongly encourage you to become a member of WASA as we continue the extremely important work of promoting community and legislative support for public education."

- Timothy Ames, Superintendent, Wellpinit School District, Chair, WASA Membership Committee

  • Provide, in concert with AWSP, OSPI, and their professional organizations, a research-based, high-quality leadership academy for ongoing professional development.
