School Employees Credit Union of Washington is
based within Evergreen Bank and was founded in 1936 by Seattle teacher
Robert J. Handy with $5 in capital. It’s now one of the largest

VEBA Trust

school districts in Washington with a method of providing supplemental
benefits, particularly post-employment (retiree) medical reimbursement
